Welcome to the 1855 Fiber Company. We take great pride in acquiring the most rare and sought after fibers on the market then hand crafting them into beautiful sweaters, pants and accessories. In 2009 we have limited quantities of alpaca, bison, yak, qiviut and vicuna yarns, fibers celebrated for their fineness and warmth and only available to a privileged few.

You may choose from one of our many made to measure items like a classic v-neck sweater or sweater vest, casual roll-neck sweater, our rugged fishermans sweater, or let us design a sweater especially for you. Whatever suits you, we will knit your sweater to your exact measurements.
